Marine Corp Ball dress code for spouses?
I have seen multiple questions about what to wear and not to wear, but all of them say white, blue, red, or silver. What about a brown with a little iridescence in the material?
Ok... I have never been to one before, and I am not the trashy kind anyway. So this should be easy for me. Thanks everyone!
My husband is a retired Marine combat veteran. He has been to them numerous times, but I have never been.
The dress is floor length, A-line, and strapless, but not revealing.
Hello Cassidy.
I gave an answer to this the other day for another Marine Corps spouse.
Just Google the "Marine Corps Ball" and you will see the photos from last years 2008 ball in Washington D.C.

Then go to the LINKS and you can click on the 2008 photos.
There are 500 photo to look at. They show the different people at the ball and you can look at the dresses that the women wore last year.
Remember, it is not a prom dress or wedding dress fancy. You will see when you look at the other women's dresses.
Not seeing your brown dress or how it looks on you we can't make a recommendation. But, I am sure that between you and your Marine husband or boyfriend who is taking you to the ball you need to be sure that your dress complements him and makes him proud. He will probably be dressed in his Marine Corps Blues. So, you know that he will be looking mighty fine.
Best wishes and I know you will enjoy the ball. I had been fortunate enough to be invited to two Marine Birthday Balls as a guest.
Best wishes.
