How do I heal a burn the size of a 10c coin on my thumb?
So I was a little clumsy the other day and touched the hotplate in chemistry class, and I now have a beautiful unbroken round blister on my thumb print. Currently I apply some burn gel (Solosite) daily and cover it with a small bandage but I have a basketball game in 4 days and I am wondering how early I should pop it before the game.
Or should I stop applying the gel and let it dry out itself?
I'd pop it now. So at least by the time the game comes around it should have scabbed over. It's going to throb for a few days. try keeping the bandage off as much as possible, so it can breathe. Keep apply the ointment.
