Hi. My baby is three months old today. He only eats 20-21 ounces a day of expressed breast milk or formula.?
He seems like a grazer, which is fine, but 20 ounces does not seem like a lot he is happy, having wet and dirty diapers so I am not too worried, he chews on his hand all day. Will his appetite increase as he gains weight? I hope. His 2 month old friend drinks more than him!
Your baby seems like he is doing fine. The most my baby ever had was around 28 oz per day and that was around the 6- 7 mos mark...now that she is 9 mos and eating solids her bottles are now about 16-22 oz per day. Sounds like he eats well and trust me if he wants more he will let you know. Chances are as he gets a bit bigger you will see his fluids increase. Best wishes
